Its nectarine season, so I decided to see how it tasted in my green smoothie… can you say AWESOME! Here is the easy recipe…be sure to buy organic if possible, otherwise soak them in sea salt bath for about 10 minutes…
Peel and cut one nectarine
1 cup kale
1 tblsp. ground flax seed
1/4 cup organic soy milk (I use West Soy)
2 cups spring water
blend and chill… enjoy!
* You can also substitute fresh peaches if nectarines aren’t your thing
